Enzyme Activity Definition

One unit (1U):   The amount of enzyme required to completely degrade 1 μg of pBR322 plasmid DNA within 10 minutes at 37°C.

Product application

1.   Preparation of DNA-free RNA samples.
2. Remove the template DNA after in vitro transcription.
3. Remove contaminating genomic DNA from RNA samples.
4. Used in conjunction with DNA polymerase I for DNA labeling by incision   translation.
5. Used in Footprinting method to analyze DNA-protein interaction.
6. DNA fragment library construction in the presence of Mn2.

2. In RNA extraction experiments, it is recommended to add an appropriate amount of RNase Inhibitor to prevent RNA degradation.

3. Metal ion chelators, 0.1% SDS, DTT and mercaptoethanol have significant inhibitory effects on this product.
