Recombinant VEGF protein, recombinant human VEGF protein- GMP grade

Product Description:
Vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF), also known as vascular permeability factor (VPF) or angiopoietin, was originally a new growth factor found in a variety of cultured tumor cell lines, which can increase the permeability of microvessels and venules. Later, it was found that this factor specifically acts on vascular endothelial cells and promotes the proliferation of vascular endothelial cells, so it was named vascular endothelial growth factor. The structure of VEGF is highly conservative. It is a homodimer glycoprotein formed by the cross-linking of disulfide bonds within and between subunits, with a molecular weight of 34000 ~ 45000. It has certain homology with platelet-derived growth factor. At present, four kinds of VEGF monomer polypeptide chains of different sizes have been found. Their amino acid residue numbers in human cells are 121, 165, 189 and 206 respectively. This product is VEGF165.
This product is a recombinant protein expressed by eukaryotic cells. The protein gene is inserted into a stable expression vector and transformed into CHO-K1 cells. After cloning, screening and quality verification, the stable expression strain is selected and prepared by fermentation on a medium determined by chemical composition (without any animal derived ingredients). The process is stable, ensuring the product quality and the consistency between batches.
This product is a sterile lyophilized powder, which is filtered by a protein solution containing 10mM PBS pH of 7.2 through 0.2μm filter membrane, and then lyophilized and aliquoted.

Directions for use:
It is recommended to dissolve lyophilized recombinant rhVEGF in water for injection or sterilized ultrapure water at a concentration of not less than 100 μg/ml to be further diluted to the working concentration. Avoid repeated freeze-thawing as much as possible.
Cytokines after re-dissolution: stable storage at 4 °C for 7-10 days; For long-term storage, store at -20°C after aliquoting.
For Research Use Only.
