Product Description:
Insulin is a peptide hormone secreted by islet β cells. Insulin plays an important role in many cellular activities: such as promoting sugar and amino acid transport, improving anabolism, reducing catabolism, stimulating cell growth, etc. Insulin is a universally added substance in serum-free mammalian cell culture media.
This product is made by fermentation, isolation and high purification of yeast expression systems containing highly efficient expression of human insulin genes and then lyophilized. It is composed of two polypeptide chains, each of which consists of 51 amino acid residues, with a molecular weight of 5807Da.
This product is a sterile lyophilized powder.

Directions for use:
It is recommended to dissolve lyophilized recombinant human insulin in sterile 0.01 N hydrochloric acid at a concentration of not less than 1 mg/ml to be further diluted to a working concentration. Avoid repeated freeze-thawing as much as possible.
Recombinant human insulin after reconstitution: stable storage at 4 °C for 7-10 days; For long-term storage, please store at -80 °C after aliquoting.
